Lauren obtained a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney in 2013. Prior to this, Lauren completed a Communications degree at the University of Technology, Sydney. It was during this time that Lauren came to realise that her true passion lay in supporting others to communicate.

Lauren is a warm and engaging speech pathologist who enjoys building rapport with children and their families and connecting with people from all walks of life. She loves working with children on the development of their speech, language and social communication skills and collaborating with families, educators and other health professionals to ensure that her clients are best able to progress towards their goals.

Lauren’s strong interest and experience in supporting school aged children led her to pursue a career at Speak & Write. Lauren has experience working with children and adolescents in various settings including schools, private practices and community health centers. She has experience assessing and treating a range of speech, language and social communication difficulties.

Lauren is trained in Michelle Garcia Winner and Pamela Crooke’s Social Thinking program and is registered with Speech Pathology Australia’s Professional Self Regulation Program.

Beyond working as a Speech Pathologist, Lauren can be found enjoying a sunrise stroll or chasing her two children around a local playground.
